Mauricio Nader will give a Solo Concert in Berlin, with Migrant Sounds Ensemble as guest musicians

ARTivisten e.V., an NGO based in Berlin with the aim of integrating migrants into German culture, proudly presents an amazing solo concert of Mauricio Nader. The Chilean bass player based in Berlin will perform the best of his four solo albums on the bass guitar. This repertoire consists of arrangements of classical, Latin-American and own compositions for the instrument, with and without accompaniment. He has developed an unique concept for the electric bass, leaving the usual supportive role in order to perform solo pieces in an elegant and emotional way.

For this special occasion, Mauricio will invite “Migrant Sounds Ensemble” to join onstage in some songs. Migrant Sounds Ensemble is a project created in January 2022 and managed by José Carlos Mayorga, a musician from Guatemala living in Berlin. The aim of this group is to integrate migrant people to German culture through music. During the first year of activity, the ensemble has given concerts in Berlin, and since January 2023 is creating musical events where people with or without knowledge in music can join and participate in Jam Sessions and Workshops.

Mauricio Nader gibt ein Solokonzert in Berlin, mit dem Migrant Sounds Ensemble als Gastmusiker

ARTivisten e.V., eine NGO mit Sitz in Berlin, die sich für die Integration von Migranten in die deutsche Kultur einsetzt, freut sich, ein beeindruckendes Solokonzert von Mauricio Nader zu präsentieren. Der in Berlin lebende chilenische Bassist wird das Beste aus seinen vier Soloalben auf der Bassgitarre spielen. Das Repertoire besteht aus Arrangements klassischer, lateinamerikanischer und eigener Kompositionen für das Instrument, mit und ohne Begleitung. Er hat ein einzigartiges Konzept für den E-Bass entwickelt, bei dem er die übliche unterstützende Rolle verlässt, um Solostücke auf elegante und emotionale Weise zu spielen.

Zu diesem besonderen Anlass wird Mauricio das "Migrant Sounds Ensemble" einladen, bei einigen Liedern auf der Bühne mitzuspielen. Das Migrant Sounds Ensemble ist ein Projekt, das im Januar 2022 gegründet wurde und von José Carlos Mayorga, einem in Berlin lebenden Musiker aus Guatemala, geleitet wird. Das Ziel dieser Gruppe ist es, Menschen mit Migrationshintergrund durch Musik in die deutsche Kultur zu integrieren. Im ersten Jahr seiner Tätigkeit hat das Ensemble Konzerte in Berlin gegeben, und seit Januar 2023 organisiert es Musikveranstaltungen, bei denen Menschen mit oder ohne musikalische Vorkenntnisse an Jam Sessions und Workshops teilnehmen können.

ARTivisten e.V., una ONG con sede en Berlín cuyo objetivo es integrar a inmigrantes en la cultura alemana, se enorgullece de presentar un increíble concierto en solista de Mauricio Nader. El bajista chileno radicado en Berlín interpretará lo mejor de sus cuatro discos solistas en bajo eléctrico. Este repertorio consiste en arreglos de composiciones clásicas, latinoamericanas y composiciones propias, con y sin acompañamiento. Ha desarrollado un concepto único en el bajo eléctrico, dejando de lado el habitual rol de soporte en una banda, para pasar a interpretar piezas solistas de forma elegante y emotiva.

En esta ocasión especial, Mauricio invitará a “Migrant Sounds Ensemble” al escenario para interpretar algunas canciones en conjunto.

Migrant Sounds Ensemble es un proyecto creado en enero de 2022 y dirigido por José Carlos Mayorga, músico guatemalteco afincado en Berlín. El objetivo de este grupo es integrar a las personas migrantes en la cultura alemana a través de la música. Durante el primer año de actividad, el ensemble ha dado conciertos en Berlín, y desde enero de 2023 está creando eventos musicales donde personas con o sin conocimientos en música pueden unirse y participar en Jam Sessions y Workshops.
