Mauricio Nader will give an amazing solo concert as part of the Intercultural Week Treptow-Köpenick 2021 in Berlin
Next Saturday 25th, September, Mauricio Nader will perform the best of his solo work on the electric bass in a spectacular concert wich will take place at Friedenskirche, in the area of Treptow-Köpenick, Berlin. He will show his unique style of his approach to the instrument, throug a variety of arrangements of Classical and Latin-American music and his own compositions. In addition, Mauricio will give a preview of his next solo work which is dedicated to Johann Sebastian Bach on the Electric Bass, named „E-Bach“.
The concert is organized by ARTivisten, which is a NGO created in 2019 to support creative ideas and initiatives that have a positive impact in the world by offering support and visibility to all talents regardless their background, gender, language and communication skills, and of which Mauricio is part.
Mauricio Nader is a Chilean composer, bass player and music producer, based in Berlin, Germany. In his work as a soloist and as a member of different bands, he has published more than 20 albums and live DVDs, made long tours in Chile and Europe, played with symphonic orchestras, and having been finalist and winner of the “Pulsar Chilean Music Awards” (kind of Chilean Grammys), where the category "Instrumentalist of the Year" stands out. In addition, he is world artist roster of important brands of musical instruments, equipment and accessories such as Ibanez, Markbass, Quintay Straps and Elixir Strings. Along with this, he is also an excellent motivator for the new generations through his lessons, talks, workshops and masterclass, highlighting his TEDx talk about his innovative solo work, and he has been judge of the Music Funds 2018, an instance carried out by the Chilean Ministry of Culture. Since 2021, Mauricio has been working in constant collaboration with the German association DHV (Deutscher Hilfsverein für das Albert-Schweitzer-Spital in Lambarene e.V.) to promote Albert Schweitzer's legacy to new generations.
